This rug features a patented, non-slip, ventilated PVC rug pad backing that cushions, keeps mat in place and extends the life of the rug. Our bamboo is kiln-dried to limit cracking and warping.

The Villager Natural style offers a rustic design of varied, narrow bamboo slats in light brown tones with subtle accent stitching and a darker brown border. It's available in sizes 2 foot by 3 foot, 4 foot by 6 foot, 5 foot by 8 foot, 7 foot round and 7 foot by 10 foot. Slight color variations may occur due to the unique, natural qualities of the bamboo.

This is very nicely made; however, it looks like a beach mat-just like the picture. I thought that is would like the other bamboo rugs with bigger slats but it does not. I just got it today and I really don't know what to do with it.

The description says that the rug goes anywhere - well, that's not true. I put it on my floor and it looks like a beach mat--not a "rug." I really wish that they would change the description of this item.

This beach mat would be very nice for outdoors if you only have a small area to cover and the area is protected.

Very disappointed because I wanted to use it in my kitchen to go with my other bamboo furniture and this does not work.

This is an excellent mat for kitchen hardwood floors. It lies flat, is easy to clean, and protects wood floor from wear spots. The border is well done and has lasted a long time. I have purchased these mats twice now for two different homes. Will consider larger mats for kitchen table in future.
