We wanted a shag rug that didn't shed and wasn't made of polyester- love the bamboo feel.
The rug is great, soft and very cool looking. The color of the ivory is whiter than I expected and though it is naturally stain resistant, after a month it is getting very dingy.

Update- we finally got this rug cleaned and it fell apart- that is, the glue holding the back on dissolved and so now there are two separate rugs. not sure how we're going to get it back together!

I would not buy this rug again- it gets very dirty and apparently can't be cleaned.
