We have a carpeted office. We have gone through 3 plastic char mats in 4 years, they always crack. Decided to try this product. Chair rolls so much better, doesn't sink in like on plastic mats. No marks or scuffs yet so that's good. And it doesn't slide on the carpet like I was worried about. Does not have the spikes that plastic mats do so I'm hoping it better for the carpet too.

Sits a little higher than a plastic mat but in my case that is good since my office chair was maxed out on height and I like the additional 1/2 - 1 inch.

Finally gives the office some class.

I use this mat on thick carpet. So far it has performed much better than the plastic mat. It is well made. It provides a solid surface and looks very nice.

When my clear plastic chairmat started cracking as they always do, I decided to purchase this bamboo version. Quite simply, I was sick and tired of buying the plastic ones, only to have to purchase new ones every few years. Not to mention they always smell so bad for the first few weeks of using them. This bamboo chairmat blew me away! I compared prices at all of the local office stores and online stores, and Amazon by far had the best price. The chairmat arrived the very next day after ordering and was shipped in perfect condition. It even has a storage and carrying case included. It rolled out flat very easily, is lightweight, is very easy to glide the chair on, and best of all, it elevated the entire look of my office. Looks very sleek and stylish.
