Ankh, Eternal Light is the undiscovered ancient Egyptian prayer papyrus of Mert'am-Ankh-Amon, a priestess who lived in Khemenu [Hermopolis] about 3333 B.C.. This is the second book in a trilogy recreating the Ancient Egyptian papyrus. It was inspired by the 11th and 12th plates from the Theban version of The Book of Coming Forth By Day, from the second half of the XVIIIth dynasty. This book introduces the reader to the 7 ancient light temples and the 21 stargates. It is not intended to be an exact translation. Mert'am-Ankh-Amon is a purely fictional character.

About the Author
Kathleen Lee Mendel is a Metaphysical author, Spiritual Counselor, and Numerologist who has a Ph.D. in Metaphysics. She uses Ancient Egyptian Archetypes to assist others in understanding the spiritual aspect of their life and our shared universal unity. She is a member of the Board of Director's for The Southern Poetry Association, and has authored several poetry books, a children's novel and many short stories, columns and articles. From beyond time and before the beginnings of what passes away,this artfully composed Egyptian prayer book, like its title ANKH, ETERNAL LIGHT evokes a haunting longing to be reconnected with soul memories buried deep within the psyche. Filled with beautiful thoughts and images of an ancient time not quite lost to us, the prayers of the Priestess Mert'am-Ankh-Amon are heard in the silent chambers of the temple of the mind sending forth their healing power and stirring up the soul's desire to be reuintied with the Mysitcal Hidden One. Having read it three times, I found each journey through this book to be a cherished inspirational experience.
