A very nice collection of eight mostly original stills and portraits of the wonderful 30's and 40's movie star Ann Sheridan. Sheridan began her film career in the early 30's playing in mostly B movies but by the late 30's had started to be seen in some top notch films mostly for Warner Bros. Her best performance was in 1942 when she appeared in Kings Row opposite the future president Ronald Reagan. Sadly the actress passed away from cancer at the early age of 52. The collection includes a 1) nice original posed publicity portrait of her on skis from "Winter Carnival" 1939. 2) a posed original publicity portrait of her and Jack Benny from the popular 1942 film "George Washington Slept Here." 3) an original scene still of her and Errol Flynn from "Edge Of Darkness" 4) an original beautiful tinted glamour portrait of her that was a give away for Auto-lite Spark Plugs with a facsimile of her signature. Printed on heavy stock paper. 5-7) 3 early re-issue stills from "Kings Row, two of the stills picture her with Reagan. Average light wear. 8) an original still of her and Cary Grant from I was a Male War Bride which has a tiny mend to the white right side margin. Sold as a collection only.
