5.0 out of 5 stars Surpassed my expectations
This may be the most compelling, liberating, encouraging book I have ever read. As a disenfranchised Catholic and subsequently an avid student of metaphysics, I long have searched for answers to life's enduring questions. While I have found satisfactory answers from a variety of sources, I was still unable to embrace the traditional Christian view of the life of Jesus,...

2.0 out of 5 stars File Under Fiction???
I purchased this book as Christmas approached, hoping to gain more insights into Anna and her remarkable life. The "Cayce Readings" have great information, also I would highly recommend "Life of Jesus Christ & Biblical Revalations" by the Anne Catherine Emmerich which has endless insights into the life of St. Anne. Even the "Lost Books of The Bible" offers better...

This review is from: Anna, Grandmother of Jesus (Paperback)
This may be the most compelling, liberating, encouraging book I have ever read. As a disenfranchised Catholic and subsequently an avid student of metaphysics, I long have searched for answers to life's enduring questions. While I have found satisfactory answers from a variety of sources, I was still unable to embrace the traditional Christian view of the life of Jesus, with His crucifixion to pay for our sins and with Him being the only path to God. Well, in this book, Anna the Grandmother of Jesus tells an epic story that opens me up to loving Jesus and the cast of characters surrounding him. While her story has some commonalities with the traditional Bible, it describes a much broader story the spans centuries of preparations by dedicated souls, including Anna, who also exhibit the Christ within. In fact, Anna is telling her story to prepare us for an impending, massive planetary evolution into the Christ consciousness, which was the true mission of Jesus. Oh, and her narrative is captivating and heartwarming!

5.0 out of 5 stars Inspiring, powerful and imbued with divine grace., February 24, 2006

This review is from: Anna, Grandmother of Jesus (Paperback)
This account of Anna and all the other high beings that came to earth in preparation of Jesus' life, realization, crucifixion and ascension is so powerful and detailed that it has given me a deeper understanding of Jesus' mission and what it means to be a Christ. The book is loaded with information about the Essenes, the initiations, underground societies to maintain the secret teachings, and how Anna maintained her physical form for some 600 years. It also describes Jesus as a person and all that he went through physically, emotionally and spiritually. It wasn't easy!! It took a community very elevated souls, such as Anna, to help him each step of the way. But, Jesus' destiny was fulfilled and is explained in a way that will go straight to your heart and soul. Thank you Claire Heartsong for this jewel of a book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pretty amazing, September 12, 2006

This review is from: Anna, Grandmother of Jesus (Paperback)
I love this book. Along with another that I've read recently and also rate very highly (The Essenes - Children of the Light), this book has a lot of information about the Essenes. But it also has huge amounts about the life of Yeshua (Jesus), including the many initiations he went through and the events leading up to the Crucifiction. Not so much on spirituality generally as the other one, but it makes up for that in the details of the lives of Anna and Yeshua. It's written beautifully, too. Definitely exceeded my expectations.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lost Gospel, February 8, 2007

This review is from: Anna, Grandmother of Jesus (Paperback)
I enjoyed this book. I value it as an experiential gift from the author, and can hold it alongside the stories emerging about this lost culture in our anthropological findings. I feel very empowered to read how others experience our heritage of ascended masters, and am grateful for the reminder of my own growth and potential. To learn of the culture surrounding Yeshua ben Joseph answered many questions I've carried since my curious mind first began to process Sunday School stories. I also appreciated the author's approach to archetypes and how we hold our full power here.

5.0 out of 5 stars Powerfully Informative, May 28, 2007
This review is from: Anna, Grandmother of Jesus (Paperback)
I could not put this book down. From the very first page I was hooked. The detailed descriptions of another time were vivid. In addition, I feel this book presents possible answers to countless unanswered questions about the life of Jeshua. This is not a dry historical biography. It is alive, and the information as relevant today as it has been for the last couple of thousand years.

5.0 out of 5 stars Before unknown Truths bear a powerful witness!, June 4, 2006
This review is from: Anna, Grandmother of Jesus (Paperback)
This wonderful book caught me by surprise! Not just a little homily about Jesus but rich Truths that pierced my heart with validity. Life Changing. If you want to follow the promptings that brought you here, buy this excellent book and be utterly amazed. I borrowed the book to read it first, but now want my own to lend. Do it.

This is one of the best books I have read in years. It is well written, flows beautifully and gives a story for all time. I have read hundreds of books over the years and studied many disciplines and this book brings it all together. Can it be proved? Only in your heart. History only tells us what the male dominated society of the time lets be known. I cried at several different places in the book for the words opened my heart to a family that shaped a world out of control. You will not only learn about Jesus and his family history but will understand how all the ancient paths intertwine and weave a story of such beauty and magnitude that it will take your breath away. Read it in intervals so your heart can digest the information and your soul can soar.

5.0 out of 5 stars This Let Me "Take Jesus Back"...!, October 4, 2010

This review is from: Anna, Grandmother of Jesus (Paperback)
As a former (recovering - whew!) fundamentalist Christian, my perspective of Jesus has been all over the map! I actually had to put him aside for a while ... once I discovered that we are all the sons/daughters of God/Goddess (or the Divine, or Source, or Infinite Wisdom, LOL!). Couldn't square with the whole "only begotten Son of God, who has come to die in your place, so that you don't have to go to hell" theory-ology any more.

I'm glad I found this book -- so that Jesus (or Yeshua) didn't have to stay up their on that mental shelf, getting all dusty-and-irrelevant...!

I HIGHLY recommend this book ... even if you *don't* deal with fundamentalism-hangovers! What a lovely and refreshing perspective of biblical history, and *beyond* (ok, WAY beyond!). What a beautiful story (which resonates more deeply to me than much which has been declared as "absolute truth"). What an inspiring invitation for ME, for ALL of us, to dive headlong into who we (really!) are, and why we are (really!) here -- here and now...!

This is written in a gentle, intriguing, mystical, historical, and narrative fashion ... it drew me in to each character ... filling in the "gaps" in the "lost years" of the life of Yeshua (lining up with much of what I've read elsewhere ... including in the long-but-revealing book, "The Search" [for the Historic Jesus] by Dr. Ron Charles.

It certainly met me where I now am, in this fantabulously startling and unsettling (but oh-so-good) journey of spiritual unfoldingment (yay - made up a new word!) that I find myself catapulted into experiencing.

As Anna herself says, in sharing this book, take what resonates with you now, and put the rest aside ... open your mind, your heart, and your soul ... to the possibilities...!...!

4.0 out of 5 stars Enlightening read, March 1, 2011

This review is from: Anna, Grandmother of Jesus (Paperback)
This book provides many profound details of the live of Jesus, and those who assisted him. I have been an avid reader of various aspects of Jesus the Christ. This book gives answers to why Mary was chosen as his mother, what happened the day He was born, and aspects of his life.
I have often wondered who and why the people in Jesus' life played the part they did.
This book gives the reader aspects of the spiritual side of these events. From the spiritual conception of Mary and others to Jesus, Himself. The author provides a great understanding of how Jesus was able to be a Christ.
