Fascinating film - unwatchable video.,

This film is extremely interesting. Unusually for the Soviets at this time it has a genuinely contemporary look and seems to be a very interesting work. I say "seems" because the film has been transfered to video in the wrong ratio and the entire film is squashed inwards elongating all the performers. Unbelieveable!

I watched this video about fifteen years ago. As far as I can remember, there was very little dancing, the biggest attraction being the costumes by Pierre Cardin!!!! Maya was already well past her glorious years.
