This album contains some of the most beautiful harp music combined with Stevan Pasero's New Chamber Ensemble that I have ever heard. Ms. Mendieta's mastery of the harp is in this reviewer's thinking probably the best I have ever heard, and I believe harp truly is an angelic instrument. But it's not just her harp playing that makes it so good, it is also the arrangements made possible through the players of the ensemble that bring out her mastery, and make this must listening for the Christmas season, or any other time. One word of caution, however. As it is playing, you must sit down, relax, close your eyes and listen. You'll be rewarded with the most enduring listening pleasure you've ever heard!

I had to send from the UK to the States for this one... Heard it in a shop in NYC while on holiday, fell in love with it but could not get it anywhere! This is beautiful, nostalgic and easy to listen to....I must now buy the other CD about Broadway hits, can't wait!

I have played this CD over and over again. The harp music is very soothing and inspiring and it sounds good. This CD is a refreshing break from all of the Christmas hustle and bustle; it is like a quiet oasis. I especially enjoy the last song, Amazing Grace. It sums up our reason for the season--God's great love for us by sending his Son to earth to be our Savior. I searched the net to find other CDs by Anna Maria Mendieta but was disappointed to find that it is the only one.

THIS IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CHRISTMAS MUSIC I HAVE EVER HEARD. IT REALLY BRINGS THE TRUE FEELLING OF CHRISTMAS TO YOU, AND REMINDS YOU OF THE REAL REASON FOR CHRISTMAS AND ALL IT'S GLORY. I HAVE THIS CD, AND I AM BUYING 2 MORE! ONE FOR WORK AND ONE FOR MY CAR. YOU WILL NEVER REGRET HAVING THIS MASTERPIECE IN YOUR COLLECTION.

An enchanting journey is how i describe it when i listen to Mrs. Anna Maria Mendieta christmas classics on her virtuoso Harp interpretation, my favorite gift for this christmas.

Absolutely my favorite Christmas CD, and has been for years. I can listen to this endlessly.

I first heard this collection back in '93, and I haven't had a Christmas season without it. Anna Maria's blend of music is absolutely wonderful, and makes for THE essential listening music, and also perfect melodies to have floating thru the house whilst cooking, decorating, etc.

This is beautiful christmas music that is soothing, traditional without
being heavy or religious or carol-y, great backround music, I find we
have it on a lot during this season.

When I was in Caracas, I bought her '96 CD called Broadway Center Stage. It has memorable songs from some of the greatest Broadway musicals of our time. Such as Cats, Sound of Music, Les Miserables (my favorite), West Side Story, Evita, Man of La Mancha, Porgy & Bess, Fiddler on the Roof, Sunset Blvd., Jekyll & Hyde, Phantom of the Opera, and Miss Saigon! This is her BEST collection accompanied by the lush orchestral arrangement of Conni Ellisor, this selection of favorite stage repertoire includes works by Andrew Lloyd Weber, George Gershwin, Claude-Michel Schonberg, Leonard Bernstein and more. Great music! Too bad Amazon does not have this:(
