Overall, I loved the book, but there were a lot of unanswered questions that bothered me. At the core of the book is a beautiful love story but there were two large issues that were never discussed, maybe they'll come up in the next book, but they should have been taken care of in this one. Issue one - without revealing to much, there is a crime committed and the culprit is found but the reason for the crime is never revealed. Issue two - a major character revealed a HUGE similarity to Anna, but wrote it off as being a long story and never reveals the details. Considering that it completely changed the course of the novel, I felt as those this issue should have been fully explained and explored, even if it had been discussed in a previous novel, because hey, we haven't read the previous novel. I seriously doubt if it's even there. The love between the two characters and their journey was great, but Daniel felt a tad stupid at the end, not figuring out Anna's big issue. And those questions made it hard to enjoy the happily ever after. Still a very good read that I enjoyed immensely. 3.5/5

Anna's Strength was a let down compared to Bronwyn's Stand. The story line was not very original. The plot was virtually the same scenario as Book one just with the focus on different characters. I did like Anna's character. She wasn't portrayed as perfect and she was a very strong willed person who wouldn't let her physical impairment stop her. Daniel was portrayed the exact opposite from book one where he was quiet and controlled. In this book he was verbal, controlling and over-bearing. The fallout immediately after their first love scene had me thinking "what the hell". You would have thought he raped her the way they behaved. Never did understand what was up with that. Also, there was a major loose end to the story that was never cleared up. The vandal was caught but we never were told who he was to them or why he done it. I just felt that the whole story was a little rushed by the author.

A sweet story, but the editing really needs to be revisited.
Things like "you look positively editable" made me laugh. We're instead of were... many awkward sentences. It was distracting and annoying but not enough to make me stop reading.
Ending was a bit abrupt but there are more characters to write about in the future.
I would read this author again and hope that the editing improves.

Ok, I skimmed...a lot. I just felt like the love at first sight thing was semi-stalkerish and the H was a contrived tough guy, working with other contrived tough guys with weird nicknames. The suspense and build up were sort of meh. The writing itself was good and I like the fact that the h had a physical issue she battled with throughout the book. It gave her character and gave us insight into her personality. The first sex scene...uhhh...didn't get that or the aftermath. Just not sure on that one. Probably wouldn't recommend unless it was a bit more...believable.

It was okay. There seems to be an on going theme. Unnecessary misunderstandings, & non communication in Ms Kelly's books. That makes things predictable. They don't have anything to do with other women though, so that's good.
This one didn't have the danger element to it. The whole, someone causing trouble at the construction site, well, there wasn't much to it.
It still wasn't a bad book. I love how loyal the hero's are in Ms Kelly's books. She's great at making interesting characters.
The only thing about them is that the heroine's always seem to be terribly flawed some how. The hero's always seemed to be more attractive & more confident. While the heroine is not as attractive & have issues.
The heroine in this book said many times that she didn't know why the hero would be interested in her. That men that look like he did, didn't want women who looked like her.
I do not like my hero's to look better than my heroines. That is just my personal opinion and might not bother anyone else.

This is the first book that I have read from the author. I enjoyed it, but at times, pages were missing and then at the end, 10 pages were missing!! All in all, about 40 pages are missing. I don't know if this has happened to anyone else. It's really distracting when this happens. You loose a lot of the story.

After reading Brownwyn's stand and falling in love with each character all on their own. The intensity and depth from the first book was missing from this one. Love Anna's enthusiasm and work ethic and vibe, but would have loved get more on the nitty gritty of her strength.

Can't wait to read the other's story despite this let down though. Hope I don't get the same let down :(

I must admit that I enjoy reading this type of books however this particular series is somewhat repetitive from previous books I read by this author. Anna & Bronwyn are very similar in character even Vincent and Daniel. I also liked the way the author managed to blend in new characters to evolve the story however I just hope that Jacqueline's Desire will fulfill the plot & give it that much desired twist!
