This book is WRONG. The information is WRONG., October 1, 2008
This review is from: Anne Hutchinson: Unsung Heroine of History (Paperback)
This very poorly written book is littered with embarrassing grammatical errors and outlandish factual inaccuracies. Often the author comes across and being ill-informed and downright dumb. Much of the "information" is either speculated or completely fabricated and untrue. Moreover, the book's feminist perspective is predictable and dated. This is a work of (bad) historical fiction, not a reputable work of non-fiction. Much like its subject, it ought to be excommunicated and exiled from bookstores and library shelves alike. It comes as no surprise that the same woman responsible for this unfortunate book also edited "Conquer AIDS Now: With Natural Treatment - A Non Drug Approach," in which it is suggested that patients with AIDS eat healthier diets, thump their chests like Tarzan, and expose their genitalia to the sunlight in an effort to combat the virus. Who is this woman? And how was she ever published?
