I am the director/choreographer of a musical review for small children and this CD is excellent to work with! It gives the children a chance to sing without the backup vocals of a regular CD and to have more background music than just the piano. It was extremely helpfull!

What can i say this is one of the best karaoke CD's that i have heard. My daughter loves it and so will anyone who loves Annie. Not only do you get the karaoke versions of all the songs but also you get it sung for you by wonderful singers who do it to perfection so you get twice the music on one cd EXCELLENT.

I have this CD and I think its great for those wanting to sing along or even for those who just love Annie and want to hear a great recording. The songs are all in their original keys, don't know what that other reviewer was talking about. The soloists (annie is great) are as professional as I have heard on any CD and that includes Broadway. The ensemble is a little weak, however. But any kid or adult would love this CD. Great gift for any annie enthusiast (and what little girl doesn't love annie??)

I read the last negative review and had to respond. This product is not meant to sound like the movie - so I don't understand his criticism. It's meant to sound like the broadway show. Karaoke albums are for singing with, not for listening to. If the later is what you want, just get the cast album, but for kids to perform with in front of their friends and family -- this album does exactly what it's supposed to!

This karaoke CD seemed better than some of the others I listened to. I think that other reviewer has to understand that karaoke CD's aren't supposed to be identical to the original soundtracks or productions -- they're more for singing than for sitting and listening to, but if you want to hear yourself without the vocalists, this is the format you should go with. The background music actually was better than I expected from a karaoke cd.

My daughter is such a young singer in the making. She loves Annie. We have both singing lesson CD volumes of
Voice Lessons To Go by Vaccarino
which she doeas a few times a week after school. (I do them too) And then she sings through this whole CD with her friends. (Don't think I haven't tried it once or twice with mine).

I bought this CD to use as backing tracks for my musical theatre students. Some of the songs are very difficult to keep time with for beginners, and some are also not very true to the originals. I compared the tracks to both the original Broadway cast and to the motion picture album... and they didn't really add up. I wouldn't consider it a waste of money, but I also wouldn't do a happy dance about this CD.

love annie and the music so how could i go wrong with this purchase! kind of pricey compared to other karaoke cd's tho.

Well, as far as instrumental versions of shows go, Annie does not hit it out of the ball park. Its not "bad" it just isn't good. Background vocals are somewhat intruding....so if you can live with that, then you are ok. Ona scale of 1-10....I give it a 5.

I bought this product to accompany my singers in a show, and they were able to sing along with it just fine. However, if you are not very familiar with the music of Annie, some of the tracks can be a bit hard to follow. I found this especially true with "Tomorrow." Once I listened to the actual person sing it a few times I was able to follow though.
