The Honeymoon's NOT Over for this Great Betty Hutton Complation, September 29, 2009
This review is from: Annie Get Your Gun (Audio CD)
This budget import CD is a terrific bargain, combining the soundtrack to the classic 1950 Betty Hutton musical ANNIE GET YOUR GUN with an additional nine tracks of the star's vintage pop music recordings from the 1940's and 1950's, all for a very low price. I love that cover too which looks like a vintage record album cover.

Many Betty Hutton fans will have most of these tracks already on CD but at this prince, who could resist another Betty collection? And for the novice, it's a fine introduction to this great musical star and includes several of her most famous numbers. I was delighted to see the "A" sides of Betty's delightful single releases with Perry Como and Tennessee Ernie Ford in this collection but do wish they would have included the "B" sides of these rare duets as well but who can complain for 55 minutes of great music at this low price? Here's "Miss Show Business" at her very best.
