My daughter just finished kindergarten and is reading everything she can get her hands on. We love author Cynthia Rylant. Her books are cute and great for begining readers. Just discovered Annie and Snowball and it immediately became a favorite. Easy words with short chapters and always a cute story-line. She wants to read them all!

Cute story. My 5 year old daughter loves all of the Annie books, as well as Henry and Mudge and Mr. Putter and Tabby books (all by the same author). Nice, loving stories, fun pictures, and great text for new readers!
