Cynthia Rylant is the author of more than 100 books for young people, including the beloved Henry and Mudge, Annie and Snowball, and Mr. Putter & Tabby series. Her novel Missing May received the Newbery Medal. She lives in Lake Oswego, Oregon.

SuÇie Stevenson is the acclaimed author and illustrator of more than fifty books for children, and is best known as the illustrator of the popular Henry and Mudge books by Cynthia Rylant. She lives on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, with her little cocker spaniel, Gracie.

As a former first grade teacher I read the entire Henry and Mudge series to my students. Now that I am a stay at home mom to two very frilly loving girls this is the perfect series for them. They are 4 and 2 1/2 and can easy follow and enjoy this early chapter book. Can't wait for the new books to come out...
