Annie’s Homegrown totally natural shells and real aged cheddar mac and cheese is a great all natural dish for kids who need to have that “orange” cheese on their macaroni. Annie’s has taken the original shells and white cheddar macaroni and cheese and naturally added a little color--a perfect answer to all the chemically orange colored cheeses. The natural cheese is colored with a plant extract called annatto, which has been used in tropical American cultures for generations to color foods such as butter, cheese, and mustard. This is a vegetarian product that has zero grams trans fat and is yeast free. It is a good source of protein, calcium, vitamin A, vitamin B1, and folic acid. This is sold in a pack of twelve 6-ounce boxes.
