Frankly, I was disappointed. I felt the title and cover of the book was misleading because I was looking for DOLLS to crochet, not doll clothes! Most of the patterns in this book are for Barbie doll clothing, not for actual dolls to crochet as is shown on the front cover. However, the few dolls there are to crochet are cute, which is the only reason why I did not give the book a lower rating. But if you are looking for actual doll patterns and NOT doll clothes, then I would save my money and look elsewhere.

This book is exactly what I was looking for. I'm fairly new to crocheting (2 years) and had no problem following the directions. I started the 29 inch "Rag Doll" but used the "curls" from another doll in the book and got so many compliments from co-workers. I'm working on my fourth doll and enjoying myself tremendously !

I've been looking for this book since I saw a cover of this in oneof the Ebay auction and fail to get it even at a price higher than this! I couldn't believe my luck when I found it in Amazon com for this price and when the book finally arrive, everyone at home (and me of course1) were going through it with oohs and ahhs! coz all the dolls are so fantastic that you wanted to make them all!! The doll on the cover takes the cake coz it is so detailed in design and the instructions are easy to follow too!!

Not to be missed by any avid crochet doll collectors!!

This book has a wonderful assortment of patterns to choose from. Barbies-Babies. Patterns are fairly simple to follow, and colorful pictures.

The pictures are detailed and the instruction very clear and precise. This is an outstanding book for anyone who enjoys making dolls.

The instructions are very clear and simple enough for beginning crochet crafters. The patterns use simple stitches and have a quick review of stitches in the back for assistance. I have almost completed the large doll and really like the way she is turning out.

the patterns in this book are great.The dolls are beautiful, I've made 3 already happy I purchased it.I was happily suprized to find it wasn't all doll clothes, I've been looking for crochet doll patterns and there are alot of them in this book.I highly recommend it.

i LIKE THIS BOOK FOR THE VARITY OF PATTERNS IT HAS. iT ISN'T THE SAME OLD THING OVER AND OVER. THE PATTERNS ARE ALL EASY TO DO AND EACH ONE IS AN INSPIRATION FOR THE NEXT ONE. I CAN'T WAIT TO END ONE AND START ANOTHER. TAKE A LOOK YOURSELF AND SEE THE WIDE RANGE OF ANIMALS AND DOLLS YOU WILL BE ABLE TO MAKE. Thank you Amazon for having this book here. I ordered it sight unseen and it is just fantastic. All kinds of dolls that are crocheted including animals and an INdian couple with beads. I can never have enough doll books and this one is very inclusive.
The instructions are detailed and don't look difficult. Yarn is mainly worsted wt. or crocheted cotton. I must do the wedding dress for the Barbie doll. A great dog and a few teddies also.
