5.0 out of 5 stars More Thrash,Less Speed Metal Then Know Your Enemy
Laaz Rockit rules, this is more of a thrash album rather then speed metal like Know Your Enemy. This album rules, they do Holiday In Cambodia which is a cover song and it just rules by Laaz Rockit.Fire In The Hole starts the album off and the song is awesome and then to end the album is The Omen which is such a perfect ballad song,it's kind of haunting.I suggest you find...

2.0 out of 5 stars Their best.
This is rockit's best album and that isn't saying much. Compared to any other thrash band out there, Laaz is just average and mostly bad attempts at thrash with poor lyrics and flow.

5.0 out of 5 stars THE authority in non-"Big-4" thrash metal, July 23, 2005
By
This review is from: Annihilation Principle (Audio CD)
This album has some of the best thrash metal you'll ever hear. The power's there, the speed is there, and the songs are even catchy to boot. My personal favorites include Shadow Company, a cover of the Dead Kennedys' Holiday in Cambodia, Chain of Fools, and the closer The Omen. This is a MUST for any thrash metal fan, but I'd suggest finding it on LP for about $10 rather than shelling whatever insane price is currently getting asked.

5.0 out of 5 stars the best laaz rockit ever to me,pure thrash metal!, August 11, 2008
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Annihilation Principle (Audio CD)
this cd was the first big release from laaz rockit their first video actully 2 videos and I think the first headling tour and another invatation to dynamo and they started to get critics respect and a larger fan base world wide.this release was a total transformation fro their earlier days powermetal with a bit of glam to bay area thrash masters with a something proved they can stand on their own other places other than in california, parts of europe and japan.they used to get guest spots with many bigger bands, support spots due to friends and band/management connections and luck breaks but now they got a good company at the time to puch them and after years of hard work they got some respect and this cd has all great song even the slow one are fabulous.heavy thrash and talent to boot.

5.0 out of 5 stars Be Aware..., July 3, 2007
This review is from: Annihilation Principle (Audio CD)
I ordered a copy of this cd online from another seller and ended up getting what I am guessing is an unofficial reproduction of some sort on Old Metal Records. It sounds ok (slightly better than it did on cassette back in the day), but there are noticable differences in the layout and quality of the artwork. It is definately not the original Enigma release from 1989 or the upcoming remastered version from Old School Metal Records. I was ok with this because I just dumped it into iTunes anyway. You may not be. (I listen to my iPod 99.9% of the time these days.)

Just be careful and ask the seller what version they have before buying if this is something that would affect your decision to purchase.

All of that aside, this is great thrash. One of my all time favorites and essential to any metal fan's collection.

4.0 out of 5 stars another great but forgoten thrash band, June 27, 2003
This review is from: Annihilation (Audio Cassette)
man there sure are a lot of them out there...

the 80's were the perfect breeding ground for great thrash bands, bands like wrathchild america, heathen, meliah rage, forbidden, and of course-laaz rockit.
while doing nothing new, what they did-they did well.
professional ,hard hitting thrash, great axe grinders,
great sound, and a screeching vocalist.
this is,to my opinion, thier best album, with the opener-fire in the hole, being a classic thrash anthem, and one of the greatest opening riffs ever.
i pray for thier return.
