Great product. Illuminates the flag when it is handing from the pole straight down. Will not illuminate at night fully when the wind is blowing. Simple installation, product works as described. We love it and it is perfect to keep the flag up at night.

UPDATE: 9 months later product is still working great. Not sure why others are having the problem, we love the light and illuminates the flag very good at night.

I live in sunny North Carolina and thought this light would adequately illuminate our flag. Unfortunately, the light shines weakly under what I would call ideal conditions. Until I find a better light, about the only thing this product is useful for is to let passersbys know that that we are making an effort because we know proper flag etiquette! It's really too bad...this product was well-conceived but fails to deliver. I am in the market for a better light source. Hope this review helps!

Although the solar light is a good product, the concern is that it wont last through the night on the charge it receives during the day. It does last for greater than 30 hours on fully charged batteries.

This flag pole light is a great idea. When I first tried to install the light, I realized that my existing flag pole would not work with the light. The light assembly requires a ball at the top that screws through the assembly and into the top of the flag pole cap. My flag pole had a ball that popped directly into the flag pole. I bought a new flag pole that looks just like the picture on the box. I needed one anyway, but I wish this had been clearer in the description of the product.

The 20 LED lights in the flagpole light aren't really adequate to light the flag. The top of the flag is lit, but not the bottom of the flag. The lights are directed straight down--if the flag moves in the wind, the moving part of the flag is not lit up.

This is a great idea. I wish the lights were brighter.

The product was falsely advertised in my opinion. The advertisement shows a cone of light shining on the flag. I have had this product almost a month and it does not provided enough light to cover anything.
Do not waste your money on this product.

This illuminates the flag for the first 5 to 6 hrs after sunset. Can not expect more for the price!

Product is great and works as discribed however it fails to last the night during the winter nights here in Oregon.

Annin Flag Pole Solar Light is easy to install, no special wiring/tools required, and batteries were even included. Do keep in mind the light assembly requires a ball at the top that screws through the assembly and not a pole that has a ball that pops directly into the flag pole top.

Is wish lighting was brighter as the 20 LED lights are not really adequate to light the flag; especially when flag moves in the wind.

This product is good.Just doesn't quite work the way i thought it would. The ilumination is more visible as a circle on the ground instead of on the Flag.

Light didn't work, but I give it one star for the great idea. It didn't illuminate the flag hardly at all. Also, didn't realize that the lamp would not attach to the pole without buying a special flag pole topper.
