Demon Thor - 'Anno 1972' (Spalax), November 5, 2010
This review is from: Anno 1972
At least as decent as their other title 'Written In The Sky' (both circa 1974). Although this isn't my cup of tea, I cannot still listen to this genre and get something out of it. To be more specific, some patrons might even consider this to be too artsy-fartsy progressive. Tracks that showed a certain amount of promise were the ten-minute opener "Story Demon Thor", the true art-rocker "Isreal", the *ss-kicking "Ant Hill" (almost worth the admission price alone) and "Groovy". Madeleine Bach - guitar & vocals, Ricardo Aebi - bass, Tommy Fortman - piano, zither & vocals, Stephen Nuesch - organ, synthesizer, mellotron & guitar and Claude Thoman - drums & bongos. Might appeal to fans of Mythos, Eloy and possibly Faithful Breath.
