This review is from: Annual Editions: Dying, Death, and Bereavement 05/06 (Annual Editions: Dying, Death, & Bereavement) (Paperback)
I was assigned to read this book for a class called Death and Dying. I found the book very informative. The chapters are articles that are 2-3 pages long. The subject is difficult, of course, but informative. It would be good for councelors and others who work with grief. There are suggestions on how to tell children about grandma or grandpa's passing, as well as how to deal with suicide and funerals. Society in general is so fearful of the end of our life that they are completely lost when death happens around them. Grieving is hard, don't allow strangers to take advantage of you during that time, read this book. This book is a good tool to prepare for the end of our lives and others we love.
