This is Smoothjazz.com's foray into the recording industry... The Internet's #1 destination for Smooth Jazz, has teamed up with Carzino Entertainment Alliance to release the 1ST ANNUAL SMOOTHIE AWARD WINNERS CD compilation featuring the cream of the crop in the Smooth Jazz format. Each artist on Disc One received the distinguished Smoothie Award from Smoothjazz.com for garnering top sales through Amazon.com. The first disc is star-studded and makes for a fantastic listening experience at home or in your car. Artists are Mindi Abair, Chieli Minucci, J Thompson, The Rippingtons, Daryl Hall, Bob James, Peter White, Joan Osborne, Norman Brown and Steve Oliver. Disc Two establishes a joint pact that Smoothjazz.com has with C.E.A. to introduce and commit to new artists worthy of breaking into the genre. Twenty Great Songs!,

Disc One is packed with 10 Smooth Jazz hits from 2003/2004. The cool thing is that some of these songs are the actual radio edits or hot remixes that you can't buy anywhere else and are only available to radio stations. Not all songs are edits or remixes, but several are and they sound awesome.1. Mindi Abair - Lucy's Disc Two is a bonus disc, also jammed full with 10 songs from killer up and coming new artists. I actually like this CD as much as the first disc! 1. George Shelby - Touch Bottom Line: If you're a Smooth Jaz fan or if you know a Smooth Jazz fan, this is a MUST HAVE.
