Sometimes I just don't know what to think about Benny Hinn.

His "outfits", extravagances, and excesses make me cringe.
But then he writes solid, insightful, Spirit-led teachings like "The Anointing" and "Good Morning, Holy Spirit."

This is a sweet book. Lots of examples of the power and personality of the Holy Spirit as well as anecdotes which give us insight into Benny, himself.

As inclined as I am to be critical of his work, this book is excellent teaching. Time in prayer, time in fellowship with Jesus, a closer walk....these are his exhortations. And what a manifestation of His power for those willing to pay the price!

5 Stars - keep up the good work, Mr. Hinn.

This book is an absolute MUST read for any Christian who desires to move in the power of the Holy Spirit. This book contains very candid passages regarding lessons Benny Hinn has learned in his many years of ministry. As well, he frankly outlines the cost of attaining and maintaining various levels of anointing.

The pace and tone of the book makes it very readable and enjoyable as well as informative. It is equally encouraging and exhortational. This book is served-up like a multi-course meal, with the 'meatier' matters towards its end.

On a more personal note, this book has impacted me greatly and has found a permanent place in my purse (nick-named 'the library') next to my Bible and a small handful of other choice books that I just can't part with. My 'library' consists of books I consider essential for preparing the believer to "know their God, be strong and do great exploits", including : "The School of Obedience", by Andrew Murray; &! quot;The Harvest" by Rick Joyner; "Holiness, Truth and the Presence of God", by Francis Frangipane; "My Utmost for His Highest", by Oswald Chambers.

"The Anointing"- get it, read it and most importantly: go for it!

If you can put up with Hinn's style....he has boatloads of anointing and revelation. He is truly a great man of God...he is just often hard to take in large doses.

God has worked through this man to heal many....and to speak Gods Rhema word to many. I recomend with the reservation that you realize that his style is not for everyone.

Pastor Benny in this book really uses his life to show the readers how he came upon this anointing, he teaching that once received, this anointing is the secret weapon against the enemy and the way to get results in your life and ministry.

This is an awesome book. Pastor Benny Hinn has helped me to see the Holy Spirit in a whole new light. I never thought that I could pray to the Holy Spirit until now.

Benny Hinn is a mighty servant of the Lord, and so humble. I thank the Lord for using Pastor Benny in such a tremendous way to bring the message of God's love and healing power to so many hurting people around the world; and also to teach Christians how to become closer to our Heavenly Father. What a blessing he is to my life. I am very familiar with Pastor Benny's ministry, and have read many of his books. Believe me when I say, he is for real. Each book is packed with truth and revelations for the reader. Each book gently and lovingly teaches us how to experience more of our precious Lord's presence and power. I believe the God's Children are hungrier for more of Him than ever been before...I know I am. If you long for a closer, more intimate walk with the Master, please read this book. Also, it will teach people who are interested in going into the ministry how to be certain of your calling, and how to recieve the annointing. Pastor Benny showes us that we have to pay the price for the annointing, and what the price is. I highly recomend this book and all others by this author. They'll change your life. God Bless.

I love Benny Hinn. My family has been to 2 of his crusades and felt the anointing ourselves. Those who are not full gospel believers & believe that the gifts are still in use today, won't believe an anointed person like Benny Hinn & will call him a fraud. He is NOT. We have felt the power of the Holy Spirit many, many, many times. The Bible states it through-out that the gifts are very much present & in use to day and the gifts will become more powerful in the last days on Earth. For those who deny those precious gifts are missing such a loving, wonderful experience with Jesus himself. To deny the Holy Spirit is very sad. This is a wonderful book, as is all his other books.

I used to wander through the valley of misery and confusion, and then there was a man who showed me the way. Benny Hinn. His books have blessed me beyond belief, and I hope to read them all. God bless.

I appreciate the level of honesty Pastor Benny had when writing this book. I would recommend this book to anyone that wants a more insight to relationship with God and how to press in.

I seen Benny Hinn a few times and was curious about his teaching after the 'crusades' were over. He has a few life experiences that are helpful and you may be able to relate to his writing more than his ministry style. When you can pick out what you like that can help you (and not be turned off by what may be unusual to you), you'll get something out of this book. There's a few places in this book to compliment your walk with Christ on any level or confirm what you may already know. A decent quick read.
