If you need a good ice cream scoop, this is the one. This company has never let me down...I have it's pots and pans set which I have had for over 6 years. Just recently purchased thier knife set which I have to be care not to cut myself for the 4th time since getting it a week ago.

Bought this after my Kitchenaid scoop failed. This scoop feels sturdy, and has managed to cut through the ice cream much better than previous scoops I'd tried. I sense a little wiggle where the metal meets the rubber, but nothing I'm worried about. I'll update if it ever fails.

This is a tough and chunky little scoop. No worries about it snapping in half! It's made from metal from one end to the other, with an insulated handle so you don't freeze your fingers off.

The scooping end has a sharp (not knifelike though) point that lets you really get down in there to where the good ice cream hides. Everyone knows the good stuff is at the bottom, right?

Cleanup is a snap. run warm water over it and stick it in the dishwasher - it may say not to, I don't really care. It goes in there anyway. I figure if something can't take being in the dishwasher then it deserves what it gets!
Why do people make things that can't take the dishwasher anyway? Torture?

Anyway, it has survived for the last 7 months taking it's dishwasher baths so I'm going to call it as dw safe.

The best scoop that I have ever bought. I have purchased many different ones and this is the best one. I does not matter if the ice cream is hard or not, it does as it is suppose too.
