I bought this pan to replace another Anolon Advanced pan we'd had for 5 years. After that many years of almost daily use, the old pan was letting food stick. Our old pan wasn't curved at the bottom - more flat with straight sides - but I remember it cost well over $100 even back then as it's also a large 5-quart. The helper handle is very useful. $50 is dirt cheap for a pan of this quality. When this one dies I'm sure we'll get another one just like it.

We were given this as a wedding gift 3 years ago. It was an off-registry gift, but has become our favorite hands-down. I find myself using it every other day. It has become my go-to pot for most main stove-top dishes. 3 years in, it has only 1 or 2 superficial scratches and the non-stick finish is still going strong. At this price, I plan to purchase a few for my sisters.

I have had this pan for more than a year and it is my favorite pan by far. I like the rounded bottom and use if for everything from scrambled eggs to chicken and dumplings. It washes like a dream. The padded handle and helper handle make it comfortable to handle. The glass lid allows me to keep an eye on what is happening inside. It has become my favorite pan!

This is a large sided saucier and works very well when you have something that needs to be stirred or mixed frequently when you cook. Doesn't quite replace the stir fry pan but is a close second if you need just one pan. I use this when I do up several pounds of ground beef or sausage. The high sides protect me from my wife as I spill less from the pan into the stove. Very good price and the pans last for years.

I recently replaced all of my pans with Anolon Advanced. Instead of getting a set, I ordered the pans that met my needs most. One of those pans was the 5-1/2 Quart Covered Saucier Pan, and it has quickly become my favorite pan. This pan handles so many tasks, and this one pan can easily take the place of two pieces, i.e. a wok pan and a large frying pan. I love that it has tall sides so food doesn't slip over the sides as sometimes happens with a frying pan. Plus, the higher sides keep splatters from getting all over my stove top. The larger capacity also allows me to cook many dishes that wouldn't fit into a frying pan for stove top cooking.

The pan, like all of those in the Anolon Advanced line, is a high quality, solid piece that will last. I am incredibly happy that I purchased this pan, and I highly recommend it.

I bought the Anolon 5 1/2 qt covered saucier pan as a gift for my wife. Our older covered saucier had served well for the past 5-6 years with frequent use. Decided to try a more professional quality product, and that it appears to be, over these last months of use. The saucier is frequently used, just follow the instructions for use, washing, store carefully, and it's all good. Should any issues be encountered, we'll certainly post an update.

This is a very large sauce pan, more than adequate for our needs. It browns meats well and is excellent for saute... however, after just a few uses it shows "scuff marks" on the sides and bottoms. Not scratches, as I am very careful with the utensils I use... only plastic, never metal. It has a warranty but a very generic one (for manufacturers defects only). Just hope these "scuff marks" do not escalate.

This has quickly become my favorite pan. I wasn't sure I'd like the rounded edges but now that I've been using it for a couple months I can't imagine cooking in anything else!

i bought directly from analon because the sale price was better. this is one of three analon advanced pans i own and i have nothing but good things to say about this line. just use them as recommended by manufacturer and you will be very pleased with analon advanced.

We've owned this saucier for 4 years and have LOVED it from the beginning. It's big enough to fit a whole meal for 4 with just the right shaped sides to be able to stir everything and not lose a drop. We use this thing almost everyday and it is the go to piece of cookware in our house when we need a skillet type thing. We love it so much that we are buying another one. A great piece of cookware for every kind of meal.
