I ordered this because I LOVE garlic and lost my previous garlic press. I was also excited that this was in Amazon's 4 for 3 promotion.

I used it 4 times when it broke. The handles are almost entirely plastic, but go up into metal. This is a HUGE design flaw. When you push the handles together to press the garlic, the plastic gives out and snaps. Thinking it was a fluke, I explained it to Amazon, who sent a replacement. *5 stars to Amazon customer service*

That replacement only worked twice before snapping. I gave up. I picked up a $10 all metal constructed garlic press at Ikea. It is the best thing I've ever bought. I have used it several times a week for 3 months without one issue. I'd suggest that one to anyone looking to buy.
