Although quite sharp, the knives look cheap: nothing like the simple elegance displayed in the picture. I sent them back immediately.

I bought the 17 piece set after buying an individual knife from Anolon. This isn't a professional knife set and don't expect it to compare in quality to a $600 set. I bought them from Macy's, after all my discounts, I paid $95. For this price, the quality is great and I know that I'll get my value from this set for years to come. I wouldn't have paid MSRP for the set, but get them on sale and you have a great value.

Amazon shipped the set quickly during the busy season-no complaints there. The knives are terrific and match the pans we have. They loose their edge and require sharpening rather frequently. What my biggest gripe is, the set is missing a steak knife and the process to get one is too much of a hassle. I don't want to send it all back and wait for another and there seems to be no way to get just the missing knife.
