I bought these because the stated dimensions were larger than these 11"x17" Anolon sheets that I bought a few weeks ago:
[...] The 14"x16" refer to the OUTSIDE dimensions. The usable space is only 11.5" x 14.5". The 11"x17" cookie sheet outside dimensions are 12.5" x 19.5". The 11x17 is the USABLE area. The usable area of the 11x17 cookie sheet is 187 square inches. The usable area of the 14x16 cookie sheet is 167 square inches, not the expected 224 sq in. Also, the literature says "Comfortable silicone Anolon SureGrip handles provide a slip-free surface". "Handles" is plural, meaning more than one. There is only ONE handle -- that's deceptive advertising. What is the purpose of just one handle? What were they thinking? These go back in the mail tomorrow. |
