These mini Au Gratin dishes are very well made, the SureGrip handles are very comfortable and ergonomic. The dish is 7 by 5 inches, which is the perfect size for single servings. If you are looking for a larger Au Gratin dish to serve the whole family, don't buy this set. You will be disappointed to see how small the dishes are. The 1/2 quart size is just a pint size. I have tried baked scallop and baked salmon with the dishes, the result is fantastic. Cleanup is very easy.

I was extremely pleased with these pans..size just "perfect" for the two of us.. and, would have given 5 STARS....however. the house smelled like "burnt rubber" after using pans in a 325 degree oven. Even after washing them if you brought the pan near your nostrils...you could smell the silcone as if it had been burnt.

I had originally wanted to purchase white ceramic au gratins but thought that the Anolon would be the right way to go. the nonstick interior is perfect..if you can get past the smell. I will try using a few more times..perhaps the smell will "burn" off

As mentioned in a previous review, these are 5x7 dishes. Excellent for single servings of lasagne, manicotti, etc. The sides only come up about an inch though, making a shepherd's pie or pot pie type dish a bit on the small side. The cookware is oven safe, but not broiler safe, due to the silicone handles.

We purchased this cookware about 3 months ago and use it on a gas stove with an electric oven.

Pros - Well constructed, non-stick surface, heats evenly and very quickly, oven-safe to 500 degrees, cleans easily with soap and water, lifetime limited warranty

Cons - According to manufacturer info, not dishwasher safe

I am so pleased with these little pans! They're excellent quality, heavy and very attractive as well. The serving size is just right. The handles get hot in the oven but cool quickly, the cooking is even and cleanup is a snap. I bought a new set of pots and pans from Amazon a couple of years ago (Cuisinart) but am very seriously considering getting rid of those and replacing them with an Anolon set of pots and pans.

Great individual pans that can be taken from the oven directly to the table for a truly inspired service. I have used these pans on many occasions and each time they were a success.

I've only used these a couple of times so far. I baked eggs (Barefoot Contessa recipe) and then I baked omelets last night. Eggs and cheese did NOT stick at all. It was wonderful having 2 omelets ready at the same time instead of one getting cold while the other is cooking. However, because of the non-stick coating (which is excellent) I'm not able to serve in the pans. Too bad they haven't found a non-stick surface you can use with metal utensils.

These casseroles are perfect for making up individual pot pies or lasagna's or whatever. They clean up very easily even if you do not coat them prior to use.

I ordered 2 sets of these and they are perfect for us now that we are "empty nesters". Just the right size for individual servings, or a small side dish for two. Now I am back for more to give as gifts, you can't beat the price and quality.
