Anolon Classic 10-Inch Nonstick French Skillet

I've had this cookware since 1991. It has performed exactly as promised. Regardless of all the use (this is the hardest working piece in the set) It's in great shape. I use it for so many things, sauteing vegetables, a large omelette (to share).

A 10" skillet is a must have and more than one is even better. Please never use aerosol cooking sprays.

A "pumped" spray is recommended or just pour a little oil or a pat of butter for more flavor. Great even heat and total release, even when cheese is used. Fast easy hand wash!

Hubby is always frying eggs and constantly complained about the "non-stick" skillet he used. I've used other Anolon products so got the Classic skillet especially for him. He thinks it's great! The eggs slide out slick as you please and leave no evidence behind. A quick wipe with a paper towel and it's good to go for tomorrow!

We got a lot of nice pans from our wedding registry, but none of the non-stick stuff we requested. A few months later, I noticed this pan on Amazon's Friday sale and given that it was $15 or $20, decided it couldn't hurt to try this guy out.

Wow! I wish some of the other Anolon stuff would go on such deep discount! This pan heats evenly, and while it heats reasonably quickly, it's thick enough to hold some heat for even cooking. It lays perfectly flat on my burner (which is just a bit crooked, but it gives my other pans fits due to their heavy handles). The handle doesn't get too hot, and this is the easiest-to-clean pan I own.

I'd like to give it 4.5 stars because a lid would be nice, but there are sites online where you can buy lids for various cookware for under $10 so I'm going to round up instead of down.

I seriously recommend this pan, and if the other Anolon non-stick stuff is this good, COLLECT THEM ALL.

Great non-stick surface. I wish it has a lid to fit it. Just a warning- the 10 inches refers to the top of the pan, the bottom is probably more like 8, therefore making it a bit small for most of my cooking for a family.

Non-stick surface is superb and produces great results. Now all of my cooking blunders will be my fault, not my junk pans'. This is a hefty pan too (4lb shipping weight), the most solid I've seen at this price.

It's great! I didn't expect to get such a "serious" (hefty) skillet for such a price! Great, easily washable surfaces on the inside and outside.

The only thing, as I think someone mentioned before, it seems to be more like an 8 inch at the base...

This skillet works wonderfully for my husband & myself! We can cook our whole meal & have it come out wonderfully without problems or waiting. Non-stick feature hasn't failed yet!

I recently had to part with one of these skillets since it had gotten ruined with time since my wife does not know that nonstick requires using plastic utensils. Anyway, I love these things and will try to keep her from using it so it will last as it was intended. I wouldn't use anything else for the majority of my cooking on the stove.

I absolutely love this skillet! It lives up to all of it's claims. It has an excellent nonstick surface. It isn't like the nonstick surface that you see on most cookware that has that shiny black finish that wears out in a matter of months. This finish is like no other that I have ever seen on such an inexpensive item. I have used mine for all sorts of things including eggs, and they really do slide right out! It is also extra easy to clean! I cannot say anything bad about this. I got mine on the Friday Sale for $9.99! I wish I had bought several for gifts! This makes me eager to try more Analon products.

I ordered this on 10/15/2006 in Amazon.My order has been delayed 4 times

and when I called Amazon customer service ...they said sorry for delay and I will get it in Feb 2007(4months). It seems like they will just keep delay it until I cancel the order. Again I got mail from Amzaon saying that they cancelled my order in Dec.They said its not available. But I got to say that I'm very dissappointed on how Amazon handled this.

It is redicculous...if it is not available..they should have notified me before...I wasted my time...and I never got this item.
