I bought a whole set of Anolon cookware and got the griddle and a chef's pan as a bonus. I love this cookware - just care for it as the enclosed directions instruct and you will have no problems. The griddle makes great pancakes, french toast, and eggs. It heats tortillas really well, also. Buy with confidence and enjoy your new cookware.

This is a very nice size griddle pan. You can cook sausage and egg breakfast for 2 or warm a tortilla for a burrito or to make rolling an enchilada easier. The pan has a nice weight to it without being overly heavy. My Apartment has an electric stove and the large burner on medium to medium-low heats this pan very evenly. It does not seem to have any hot spots, so food cooks and browns quite evenly. The high domed lid from Anolon's 12-inch stir-fry fits this griddle very well giving it even more versatility.

With the recommended care and cautions, these products should last a lifetime. After several uses, the product still looks new. Lesser cookware's outer areas and bottom are virtually impossible to clean, even though the cooking area is OK.

If I have read correctly, Meyer will replace broken glass lids that come with some of their other products if the ring (and knob?) are returned to them. This fact makes me feel a lot better about the lids and even more positive about the company.

I like the bakelite knobs and handles; they do not require potholders for stovetop use.... However, they are limited to 350 degrees in the oven.

With the proper recommended care, these products should last a lifetime. After several uses, the product still looks new.... Cheaper cookware compromises on the outside, non-cooking area (which is hard to get clean) even though the cooking area is still OK. And, if I understand correctly, breaking a glass lid on an Anolon product is not that fatal; the company will replace the lid if the customer sends Meyer the outer ring (and perhaps the knob). I like the plastic knobs (and handles) because a potholder is not necessary for cooktop use....

I love the weight and size of this pan. Excellent for pancakes, Frenchtoast, burgers, eggs, grilled sandwiches, and warming tortillas. It works great for making a pizza since it's oven safe to 350 degrees.

this product is the best i have other products from this company and was so pleased i bought this size griddle and the price was the best. love it very much

Despite practicing all of the following:
hand washed with soft sponge
never heated to high temp
allowed to cool down before washing
using only soft spatulas,

the non-stick coating of this pan began to deteriorate after about 1 year of use (used about 5 days/week, making pancakes and/or sausage and eggs for breakfast.

You can cook with very little oil/grease.. without worrying about food getting stuck to the bottom of the griddle. Heats evenly... and clean up is super easy. For the price, this is an excellent buy!

April 8th, 2010 Update: This griddle is still going strong! Though I do not use it everyday, this griddle has seen a lot of use over the last three & a half years. I definitely use it once or twice a week. The only care I have taken is that I never put it in the dishwasher... not even once. And it has served me well... still works as good as new. Very little oil required. Makes thin dosas (Indian crepes). Works perfectly for pancakes or omelets. I am very satisfied with this purchase. I only wish I could buy more to gift to my family members. Unfortunately, cannot find it anymore.
Just wanted to share that in my experience, this griddle has been great!

This griddle is great for pancakes. I can make four or five small pancakes at the same time, and it's so easy to clean.

We love this pan. It is a little large, but is perfect for making several quesadillas at once. We often make pancakes on the weekend and freeze them to eat during the week and this has really made the process much quicker since so many more pancakes fit on the griddle. It washes up easily and heats evenly.
