Covered inside with DuPont's exceptionally durable, three-layer Autograph nonstick coating, the pot and pan in this four-piece cookware set are made of hard-anodized aluminum so they're harder than steel. The set comprises one 8-inch, 2-quart open chef's pan for making sauces and sautéing vegetables; one 10-inch round griddle that's ideal for pancakes, waffles, eggs, or hamburgers; one slotted spoon; and one spatula. Because they're aluminum, the pot and pan conduct heat quickly and uniformly without hot spots. Exteriors resist scratching and denting and show the matte-finish gray that characterizes the hard-anodizing process. Synthetic handles are oven safe to 350 degrees F, and handles are riveted for strength. The spoon and spatula, with heat-resistant heads, work beautifully with any nonstick pan. Watch out for packaging,

The pans seem of great quality (haven't actually used them yet), but I wanted to advise of the packaging. I ordered two sets, and planned to give one as a gift. I was less than thrilled to see the large lettering on the box: Our gift to you - free when you purchase $150 of Anolon cookware. Thus, be aware that if you want to give these pans as a gift, the giftee will think they were freebie! No one else has mentioned this-- maybe they are not all packaged the same.

This is the greatest set! After years of happy experience with Anolon's 3-qt chef's pan, I bought this set just for the 2-qt size (not available separately), to take the place of a couple of other pans and reduce the amount of "stuff" in my kitchen. I ended up loving the size of the griddle as well, and between this set and the 3-qt, I've ended up retiring 2 skillets, 1 saute pan, and 3 saucepans to the garage. If I don't need any of them in a year, I'm going to yard-sell them. The shape of the chef's pan make it suitable for use as a skillet/saute pan or saucepan. My 3-qt is donkey's-years old, the coating is still slick and has never chipped or flaked, and the coating on the new looks improved even from that. Generic 8- 10-inch lids fit the 2- and 3-qt pans, respectively. Highly recommended.

I just received the Analon 4 piece set for 19.99 a few days ago. The pans cook everything so evenly and tasty. I highly recommend this product. Great value for the money.
