5.0 out of 5 stars Anolon cookware set
Good purchase. Excellent quality and construction. The first thing I noticed was how thick the aluminum was. Hard-anodized aluminum with very even heating. Handles stay cool and so far durable non stick with no scratching.

I would say the non-stick is average with some food sticking at times but a long lasting non-stick.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not dishwasher safe!!!
I've owned this set for 3-4 months at the time of this review. I have been extremely pleased with the performance of this set, however a week ago I noticed that one of my pans had been damaged due to dishwasher use. 5.0 out of 5 stars Complete "starter" for new bachelor, May 6, 2007

This review is from: Anolon Nonstick Dishwasher Safe Titanium 10-Piece Cookware set (Kitchen)
When my recent "ex" moved out after 7 years, I was in dire need of some cookware. I trucked over to Amazon to check things out. This is the first place I lived that had a gas stove (which I love), so I needed some sturdy pots and pans.

The product is absolutely great. It can take the heat well. The handles take forever to get hot, but when they do, it takes almost as long to cool down. I can say it will survive any burned-in food (I tested it :) and just wipe clean. They are heavy, though. Probably not the best for an electric stove. I use them daily, as they are my only cookware set.

I only wished that there were more lids. When you buy it, you get a little brouchure of some of the other stuff, which I'm keeping. I fully intend to order more of this line.

BTW: I like it so much, that this is my first review and I've been with Amazon since 1998.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Good Deal! (at $189), November 8, 2006
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Anolon Nonstick Dishwasher Safe Titanium 10-Piece Cookware set (Kitchen)
We just received our new Analon Titanium Cookware set, and all I can say is WOW! They are very heavy duty, have a lifetime warranty on the nonstick, and look to built for a serious chef's kitchen. The lids are brushed steel (not glass) and transferrable between pots. Two useful additions might be a large flat griddle (for pancakes, cheese sandwiches, etc.), and a steamer. Both of these can be purchased separately.

The manufacturer booklet suggests limiting the use of cooking oil. We tried this and were surprised to find that it worked very well. Obviously some things still require oil (e.g. fried chicken), but overall, the pans do a good job of browning. Also, my wife insists that we hand wash them, even though the instructions explictly state that they are dishwasher safe.

Despite someone's post to the contrary, the pans definitely do not tip over due to handle weight. I've had Caphalon and many other pots/pans before and the Anolon Titanium are easily the best I've ever owned. Given their very low price ($189 at time of this writing), I can only conclude that these are a fantastic deal. Snatch it up while you can!

I had used one of the detergent gels that the manufacturer recommends. I checked with Anolon to find that the "lifetime warranty" on these dishwasher safe pots does not include damage that occured in the dishwasher. If you like these pots for their other features they are a great purchase but do not expect to be able to toss them in the dishwasher without consequence. I am very disappointed and we'll eventually be replacing these with stainless steel pots.

Anolon is great. Heats up quickly, cooks evenly, and clean up is a swipe of sponge! I have only two things to be aware of - 1. Fry pans have no lids - that would have been nice; 2. Smallest pot is alittle small for a family of 4 with teenage boys - probably better for a couple.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best cookware I've found, July 14, 2007

I've owned a number of different cookware sets (Calphalon non-stick, Anolon anodized), and this set is the best. It's heavy, and nothing sticks (eggs, cooked-on tomato sauces, etc).

If you're considering this set, but are put off by the price, look at the Anolon Titanium 10 inch fry pan. It's usually very cheap (I bought that before buying this), and is a great way to take it for a test run.

Hi,

I just bought this 2 weeks backs, it arrived on time, well packed and with warranty info.

The set is very heavy, and looks great...but the best part is it is dishwater safe which is very important to me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Pots/Pans but look for best price, November 8, 2006

Also, my wife insists that we hand wash them, because the instructions don't explictly state that they are dishwasher safe. (I suspect they'd be fine in any dishwasher, but perhaps it would shorten the life of the non-stick).

But beware... This set sells at several different prices on Amazon, so be sure and do a good search to get the best price.

I have had several cookware sets since I've started cooking on my own, and this has to be the easiest to cook on/with and cleans FABULOUSLY! I have burnt a few things here or there while trying to take care of the 3 kids and other assorted circus tricks that go on daily and I have only had to take a damp cloth to remove the burnt items. I haven't had any problems with scratches like I have had in the past with other non-stick cookware. I highly recommend this product!

The cookware itself is wonderful quality. Easy to use and clean. However, the saucepans are TINY, the largest barely makes a can of soup. The small sizes is how they can offer the quality for the price.

None of the large pots will boil 16 oz. of spaghetti.
