Anolon Nouvelle Copper Hard Anodized Nonstick 3-Quart Covered Casserole

I have been testing the Anolon Nouvelle Copper 3-qt covered casserole for a few weeks now.

The Cons:
- It is not dishwasher safe, but it does clean up easily.
- The side handles are a little too close to the cookware. When I try to hold it by 1 handle and pour the contents into a strainer or scoop out contents, my knuckles rub on the hot anodized aluminum exterior. Ouch. I did find ways to avoid this.

The Good:
- As I mentioned above, it is easy to clean by hand.
- The rivet covers do help make it appear like a perfectly smooth interior and it does present less surface area for food to get stuck in.
- The copper heats very well on the bottom and once heated, it does not take much at all to keep it hot.
- I love the size of this dish. It's great for a 1-pot meal for 1 or 2 people or a good sized side dish for a larger family.
- VERY flat bottom is wonderful on my flat top stove.
- The anodized aluminum sides surround food with a complete heating environment.

I am very pleased with this cookware and recommend it. This piece is fantastic, and I'm sure, based on my experiences with this one, the others are winners also. Anolon makes very good and solid cookware. Nouvelle copper is another winner.

This pan is just wonderful. Affordable copper bottom and hard anodized. Perfect! Everything just slides right out. The lid is a perfect fit, water catches at the top and runs back into the pan. Love the inside where the handles are attached is flush. They figured out how to attach the handles without the rivets sticking out into the inside of the pan. So easy to clean. Heavyweight, balanced, very solid. I don't bother to polish the copper, the patina is fine with me.

I am replacing Emeril cookware that has lost it's sealed surface. My husband and son are careful chefs, but that brand just did not keep it's finish. They both are excited with Anolon Nouvelle copper cookware and treat it cherishingly.

This is a quality product and is 3 quart. . .
Perfect for in the oven or on the stove. . .
Can you smell the hot stew. . .

A fantastic multi-purpose pan which works beautifully on induction and 1/3 price of what it would cost me on special in Australia!
Great size for 2 person household.

Love this pan. It's a great addition to my cooking set. I've used it many, many times when cooking for two instead of using my large covered skillet. Great for sauces
