We are now replacing our anolon titanium pans because the non-stick coating is peeling. Our pans were used on a daily basis on a Garland gas stove. We used the dishwasher most of the time for cleaning. We were very satisfied with the pans (fry, saute and sauce) in every way until the coating failed. (We also have three All-Clad LTD, both stainless and non-stick, for comparision.) Most of our protein cooking centers around egg or fish, so non-stick seemed particularly desireable. We considered replacing the anolon titanium pans with the same, but psychologically, the product now seems a lower quality than we expected. Reluctantly, we have commited to put more effort into pushing our limits with stainless steel and enamel covered forged iron to see how far we can go without a nonstick coating. We have also ordered a Swiss diamond no-stick pan to experiment with. We do feel the manufacturer (Meyer) exaggerated the capability of this product. We like to buy high quality, but we expect our purchases to last longer than this did.
