5.0 out of 5 stars Anolon reigns supreme!!
Alright home bakers everywhere, throw out those rusty cake pans and warped cookie sheets. Anolon ROCKS and at this price, it's stock up time! There are plenty of reasons to love Anolon. Excellent quality, even baking, the sillicone handles so the clutsiest of bakers (ME!) won't drop fresh baked brownies on the floor...But the #1 reason I love Anolon bakeware is because...

1.0 out of 5 stars rust starts to develop quickly
When we first got the Anolon bakeware set we really liked it. It appeared to be high quality, with a thick non-stick coating, and grips on the ends molded with "Anolon"

However, after a couple of months several pans started to develop a few spots of rust. Now that we've had the pans for 6 months they have large spots of rust everywhere. The rust is not...

Alright home bakers everywhere, throw out those rusty cake pans and warped cookie sheets. Anolon ROCKS and at this price, it's stock up time! There are plenty of reasons to love Anolon. Excellent quality, even baking, the sillicone handles so the clutsiest of bakers (ME!) won't drop fresh baked brownies on the floor...But the #1 reason I love Anolon bakeware is because there is no sticking and therefore, no mess! I am a busy mother of three, ages 6, 4 and 1. I homeschool the six year old and quite honestly, I don't have time for scrubbing pans. One gentle wipe with the dish rag and these babies are clean! Awesome! Oh, and I have a tendency to burn things and thankfully, Anolon makes that pretty difficult to do. My collection of Anolon continues to grow, as Amazon keeps offering them at these great prices. Thanks Amazon and Anolon!

5.0 out of 5 stars Better Than Other Sets, November 19, 2005
This review is from: Anolon Suregrip 5-Piece Bakeware Set (Kitchen)
I have had many bakeware sets but this one is the best. I was looking to replace my t-fal bakware that I purchased 9 years ago. They no longer make the t-fal bakeware which I loved, so I had to purchase something else. This does not rust in the dishwasher like so many sets I have had. The non stick is great and doesn't wear off. They are heavy pans which means they won't bend or warp. Love these and highly recommend them!

The rust is not only on the inside, but also on the outside, bottom, sides, and at the place where the metal folds over. Although the non-stick coating appears to be thick, I can't tell if it thins and then the underlying pan rusts, or if it is rusting from the inside out.

I've attached the three rusty photos. 2 showing the rectangular pan (front and back) and 1 showing the cookie pan (back).

These pans are the best baking pans I have ever owned. Non stick is great, heavy, great handles and the things that I have baked have turned out perfect. Very pleased.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Anolon Suregrip 5-Piece Bakeware Set (Kitchen)
I have had probably every single bakeware product of anolon. It has been almost a year and I'm currently in the process of sending them in to be inspected by anolon. I have not used the bakeware that often and they RUST fairly quickly. The rust starts where under the pans where the metal is folded (I guess I would call it the lip). I didn't notice this at first........but when I would take a pan out of the dishwasher, rusty looking water would drip out. Then I realized where it was coming from and sure enough.....rust.

After shelling out money multiple times on non-stick bakeware that somehow always managed to loose its coating from trying to scrub off baked on food I finally decided to try a higher end product. Knowing that Anolon has been one of the best for some time now I decided to give them a try (the price was good too). Nothing stick has managed to stick to these pans yet, not BBQ sauce or anything else I've used them for.

5.0 out of 5 stars I couldn't believe it., May 15, 2006
This review is from: Anolon Suregrip 5-Piece Bakeware Set (Kitchen)
I confess to being sceptical of the claims I read in the other reviews, regarding, in particular, how well the non-stick coating works. However, I am pleasantly surprised and agree with all the reviews I read. The pans are solid and heavy..well made. They are easy to handle and I like the sure-grip holders. Mostly, this is the first and only product I have tried with a non-stick coating that actually works consistantly. I have a tendancy to cook things with marinades and sauces and the liquids coat and burn and have been impossible to clean well with other products and have resulted in the coatings coming off during cleaning. With this product, it is amazing how easy it cleans, even when it appears to have burned and crusted material on the surface of the pan. An easy scrubbing with a sponge(not even the scrubby side) and all comes off like it is sliding off a slick surface. Wonderful. And the price is very reasonable compared to many other expensive products out there. Thank you. Analon.

5.0 out of 5 stars A well designed set, April 10, 2006
This review is from: Anolon Suregrip 5-Piece Bakeware Set (Kitchen)
I am very impressed with this set. The pans are of heavy guage steel and have rolled edges. I had 3 pounds of chicken on the cookie sheet and with a one handed lift the pan did not flex as my other pans did, again heavy guage steel. The handles and the nonstick surface have had no problems at 450 degrees. Other brands that I have used deteriorate rapidly at 400 degrees or above. Keep in mind I am not a cook and by my very method of cooking (set oven to high and wait til you smell something burning) I am very hard on pans of any kind. A very high quality product that I would have gladly paid 50 bucks for. By the way, the cooling rack is nonstick as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars best bakeware, April 3, 2007
This review is from: Anolon Suregrip 5-Piece Bakeware Set (Kitchen)
This is the best bakeware I've ever purchased.Great price at $29.99, best investment.Cakes, cookies etc. just fall right off the pan, very nonstick.Would make a great gift for anyone.I always handwash and make sure to use a paper towel to dry under the edges of the backs of the pans, I read in an earlier review that it can rust due to water be trapped under fluted edges.
