THIS PAN, MAKES THE BEST TARTS YOU WILL EVER HAVE... DOES NOT STICK TO ANYTHING, AND THE BOTTOM COMES OUT WITH A BREEZE! I DO HAND WASH IT, JUST TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE!!!

I LOVE this tart pan! It is so easy to use and just what I was expecting. It is strong and durable and nice and heavy with handles that are so comfy to hold. One of my favorite pieces of cookwear in my kitchen.

My wife has made two tart crusts using this pan. The crusts have not stuck and we haven't used any spray or anything. Tops of the crust have been dark, but that is probably an issue of user and not the pan.

When this arrived I had a brief encounter with "buyer's remorse" I feared that the slick/smooth nature of the wavy edges, and the handles would make it difficult to cut the crust with a rolling pin as I am used to. It worked fine. The pan is awesome. Very non-stick. It is the best loose bottom pan I own and I find myself reaching for this pan over and over again. Try this recipe for Lolo's Plum Cake: Combine in food processor 1/2 cup soft butter, 3/4 cup sugar, 1 cup flour, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon baking powder, pinch of salt, 1 teaspoon vanilla, whiz to combine (30-45 seconds.) Spread this thick batter into pan that has been sprayed with Pam, top (cover) with plum halves, cut side down, close together but not overlapping. Sprinkle with cinnamon and a little extra sugar (raw is nice) and bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes (err to the over-baked side, as the fruit continues to add moisture. I love the sure grip handles.

I bought the product, because I wanted more tart pans. This one was exactly what I was looking for, and I'm really looking forward to using it for the first time.
