5.0 out of 5 stars excellent film and film making
I saw this movie when it first came out over 30 years ago. The long long tracking shots over roofs and past windows throughout are breathtaking!
I WISH I could get an English version of this on DVD... No one has ever heard of this movie and that's such a shame because it's great acting, a great story, great characters and great film making. What else is there??

3.0 out of 5 stars Another Man, Another Chance
I was the Location Manager for this movie. The Great French Director, Claud Lelouch was the man in charge and we film most of it in and around Tucson, Arizona. The one shot that I remember is as follows: James Caan left the train station at Old Tucson Studios, walked across the street and stopped to speak with some one. Claud never stopped the camera. From there he...

From there he followed Caan as he walked into the hotel, camera on a crane moves around the side and peers through a window as we see Caan register, then walk upstairs as the crane goes up and catches him walking into his room, Claude stepped off the crane and through the window..all in one motion. Lelouch is the only director in the world that could pull that off. This is a great follow up to his first Man and Woman. You will love the scenery of Arizona and the love story that follows. I hope it comes in DVD Region one someday.

4.0 out of 5 stars Un homme et une femme encore, December 3, 2007
This review is from: Another Man, Another Chance / Les Miserables (French Only) - 2 DVD Pack [Non-US Format, PAL, Region 2, Import] (DVD)
Another Man Another Chance is the same basic story as "A Man and a Woman" -- but set almost a hundred years earlier in the American West. The man races horses instead of cars and the woman makes photographs that require a great deal of light. And light there is! The light is as plentiful in this one as the rain was in "A Man and a Woman". I wish it were available in the US/Canada format.
