Treasure for Wailers Fans,

Every track here is new in the Heartbeat CD series of Wailers Studio One recordings. Many of the famous/hit tracks appear here for the first time without the later Coxsone overdubs that appeared on previous Heartbeat CD releases (One Love 2CD, Destiny, Climb The Ladder, Greatest Hits at S1), while others are alternate takes, original 45 versions that have never been on CD, and a couple of songs that have never appeared on CD at all.
It's amazing that such a large number of the original hit 45 versions/mixes from Jamaica had been overlooked by Heartbeat until now. Most are taken from original pressings, but the sound is excellent.

Rare bob. Before Buffalo Soldier, but after Judge Not. Not for the casual fan. For the die hard on the other hand, it's a whole 'nother story! You won't be disappointed!

Some rare and early Wailers that would be most appreciated by completionists. Those familiar with the Wailers catalog will find nothing here to go out of their way for. Be sure you've heard everything else from Marley and the Wailers as well as the solo work of Peter and Bunny before spending $$$ on these formative years.
