I really love JW's books and his style. The reading is VERY easy and very interesting and entertaining. Whenever I get one of his books, I want to sit down with it until I have finished it. I love his style; he is very unpretentious. I am very impressed with his abilities. This book has explained some things about death and dying that I did not know, in a way that makes perfect sense, and makes the passing of people I've loved make sense. It took away the really horrible feelings I had at not being present at my father's death, by explaining that people pass the way they need to, and the way that makes it easier for them. In other words, I would have made it much more difficult for him had I been there, so I am now glad it happened the way it did, and feel peace about it, rather than self-recrimination. Previously, I had felt that the only way to go out was to have your family gathered around you to wish you love as you left. I no longer feel that way. This book was very helpful to me (as was his previous book) and I would heartily recommend it to everyone. JW seems like a wonderful person, and this really comes through in his books.

"Another Door Opens" is more than just another attempt to explore and explain the world from a psychic's point of view. Of all the books written on this subject, and I've read many, Jeffrey's is an extraordinary glimpse into a side of life not many of us are gifted enough to see.

In a way that is both simple to understand and imminently soothing, he is able to explain both how and why those we've lost are not really lost to us at all.

For anyone who already believes that the spirits of those we've loved live on, this book will reinforce your understanding while reaffirming your faith.

More importantly, for anyone uncertain or just hoping that there may be more to life than what we see, this book offers a view that could change the reader's perspective forever, both spiritually and emotionally.

Beyond the explanations, the examples and the testimonials, I felt a profound sense of comfort from reading this book. And, perhaps not suprisingly, it's a feeling that is still with me.

The first time I met Jeffrey Wands my life changed forever. He had drawn a large crowd at a Barnes and Noble book signing, and I was curious as to why so many people seemed captivated. I sat on the floor and listened as Jeffrey delivered very specific messages from the dead relatives of audience members. The uninitiated were astonished, while those who knew of Jeffrey's gift took his conversations with the departed in stride.

I raised my hand to ask about my husband's recent suicide. When called upon, I barely spoke the words, "My husband recently....." when Jeffrey cut me off. "You had nothing to do with it and you weren't responsible for it in any way. He had manic depression and he snapped," he said. I tried to catch my breath as Jeffrey explained to the audience that my husband had killed himself.

I spoke to Jeffrey afterwards and what he told me about my husband and his family was 100% true. His insights were amazing. I bought his book, Another Door Opens, that night. The book opened up my world. Now that I know the death of the body is not the death of the Spirit, and that loved ones don't leave us, they simply live on in another dimension, I am at peace. The book isn't an eye opener; it's a heart and world opener, and as a psychologist, I believe Another Door Opens is an invaluable tool for anyone who

has questions about where we go when we die. I recommend it as a gift for yourself.

I 've watched this guy on television, and thought he was a pretty down to earth guy, but this book was mostly about Jerrery talkin about Jeffrey.He seems to think that he's God's gift, but doesn't mention how much that will coast you for him to help ya out with his gift.He compares himself with doctors and others that actually went to school,but there's nothing here that you haven't read before. Energy is energy, it doesn't die, bla bla bla.I didn't learn anything that I haven't heard a hundred times before, except that when we die we hang around our grave. I would be more willing to believe Syliva Brownes's thoughts that we throw off our worn out coats, and ya can throw my body over the back fence.The book is full of "fillers"...if ya ever had to finish a thousand page paper in college, and filled it with qouatations,letters,etc...this is what they've done here. If ya feel like ya gotta read this book, ask your local library to order it for you .....they'll do it for free. This book is nothing more than him making a few hundred grand on selling the same old same stuff you've already read.

I've enjoyed reading both of Jeffrey's books. There is a sincerity and honesty that is presented in earnest for critics and colleagues alike. I have seen Jeffrey in person, on television and listened to his radio shows for many years..., IMO, his accuracy in retrieving information is unrivaled in all but the fewest of psychic circles.

As I do this review, I am well aware that I am looking at it from a different perspective than most people. Jeffrey Wands has done a superb job in relaying the simple connection between the divide from those in spirit to those of us on the physical level. He answers a multitude of curious questions that many of us have, such as how he receives communications from our loved ones. I know how hard it is to put into words what is felt when we are connecting to the non-physical side of life.

Jeffrey has also done a great job in sharing with us much of what he has undergone personally. I think Another Door Opens is a great book if you want some insight from a psychic's viewpoint about how the "two worlds" are so easily threaded together. I would recommend this book for anyone who desires a more descriptive idea and examples of what spirit communication is all about.

I had just purchased Jeffrey's book "Another Door Opens" prior to my mother's passing on September 6th, and I wanted to let you know just how helpful it was to me in those coming hours.

I had been basically living at the hospital in the weeks prior to her death, not sleeping at night, watching her breathe, feeling the need to be awake and alert when she needed something. I had also been doing my own "life after life" research. I am said to be somewhat like Jeffrey, though my gifts appear to be hit or miss; so I had no fear of what was coming; at least not for me...but I worried about my mother's fear of crossing over. Until the very end, she believed that she could control the outcome. My mom was a powerful presence, and even after she had slipped into a coma roughly 36 hours before she died, I could feel her fighting the inevitable. But as Mr. Wands has stated, there are no coincidences.

His book came to me at the right time - on or about Sept 4th, it kind of called out to me while cruising the bookstore while taking a break from the hospital. I had finished it the night before she went into the "active" phase of death. The suggestion to buy the book happened in much the same way that the suggestion to leave the room came to me just minutes before she passed (what I actually heard was "you know, she's not going to leave with you in the room"). I'm glad that I've learned to listen.

At 5:10am I got up from my chair and told her "Mom, I'm going outside for a bit. You do what you need to do, and I'll see you later." I knew that she would not be there when I came back in. At 5:17am, while I was out chatting with one of the nurses who happened to be taking her break, my mother's nurse came to tell me that she had passed. 7 minutes was all it took.

I strongly recommend "Another Door Opens" to anyone who will stand still long enough to listen, and will continue to do so. His counsel is wise, compassionate, and most important - rational. He reinforces that we already know what we know, and that we need to trust what we know and the source from which it comes. I've long believed that death was just another step in the journey...Mr. Wands presents a beautiful roadmap.

What could have been a scary time in my life became a blessed and transcendent experience; his book truly resonated with me and helped me to understand what I intuitively know, but could never validate. After reading ADO, I had such a sense of peace about what was coming for my mom. I knew that she would be fine, and that she would be cared for in a way that we on this plane can only imagine.

I know that it's all good. More important, I believe it.

The narration by Jeffrey Wands in this book is so flowing and smooth. It's as if you are sitting along side and he is talking to you. He explains many questions about who he is and how his abilities work. I recommend this book if you have any interest at all in the spirit world and how the spirits work.

Another Door Opens by Jeffrey Wands was a fascinating, interesting encounter with the world of spirit. It was very consoling and comforting and leaves a bereaved person with a feeling of hope and peace that our loved ones never really leave us. I have read many books on psychic phenomena and was impressed that Jeffrey Wands worked in conjunction with therapists. It was written on a very understandable ,credible level.I appreciated the religious aspects of the book and feel it offers a great amount of healing for people who have suffered recent loses. This is a fabulous and enlightening book.

I found the book refreshing. Mr. Wands actually explained some of the things that I can't seem to find in books by other famous mediums (such as ghosts, and lingering energy). I'm all for being completely positive, but if you don't know all of the facts, how can you protect yourself from the negative. Mr. Wands gives you those facts.
