Another Great Album from a Great Artist,
This review is from: Another Earthquake! (Audio CD)
My sister is crazy about this album, and even I'm not against listening to it. Aaron Carter can really sing, and is (I know first hand) the wannabe sweet hearts of thousands of girls. Persounally, though, I can even admire his music, and a lot of it is really fun to listen to. Why? The songs: For one reason, I'm not someone who likes to go out and cuss out every person I meet. I've noticed Aaron never seems to cuss in his music, or get dirty. It's all good and clean, with the occasional "baccini" or "sweet lips" or whatever these lyrics contain. But nothing that really should make any parent or child say "goodness, that's a little naughty *lol*." This CD is something you can pop in for any age and everyone can enjoy. Here are the songs that I really liked, and of course, that my sister adores! 1) To All the Girls: My sister's all-time favorite. It talks about how growing up CAN be so strange, yet the friend's and relationships you make will be with you forever. It talks about the good times everybody should have, and the true friend's that'll always be there for you no matter what happends. Probably my favorite too! 2) Another Earthquake: His BIG rapping song, and it's pretty good too! Something that you can kind of get up and dance to, or rap along with, this song talks about him rocking the world with his music. I enjoyed this one as well. 3) Do you remember: I don't really care for it, but my sister sure as hech does! It talks about the good days, and when he'd do anything for this girl he loved to make her love him. It's a little romantic, and your daughter or even you (if your 14-17) might enjoy listening to. I didn't, but hey, that's just me! Overall, if your looking for a good CD for your kid to listen too, this will definantly fit the space. It's a mature CD (meaning not kiddie), but very clean, that has good beats, and overall you could play again and again and never get tired of it. I enjoyed it my self, and my sister...she can't resist. As for those HUGE A*C fans, this is another great album to add to your collection! Hope this helped, and though I didn't review them, this CD has several good songs that I didn't list, and the classics that I did. Thx!

Great pop CD for any fan!,

I love Aaron Carter, and was very pleased with this CD. There was a much different sound to this one than Oh Aaron, Aaron's Party, and Aaron's Self-titled album. He sounds much more grown up since he has had a little more experience in knowing what his fans would respond to well. I think he did an excellent job, and I would recommend the CD to Aaron fans. Anyone who is not an Aaron fan, listen to the CD before you judge it... if you don't like it even afterwards, you are entitled to your own opinion... no one will hold it against you.

It's very simple, if you like Aaron Carter, you'll love this CD, if you don't however you'll probably need a very open mind to even listen to it. Aaron does a great mix of pop and everytime I hear his new stuff he's done a much better job. Being extremely known for his 'bubble-gum'image, it really hasn't helped him bring in new fans but as he's growing...so is his music. Another Earthquake! is definately a great pop album, that's clear, if you take the chance to listen to it. Non-AC fans won't even think twice about buying this CD but if you're just looking for a funky unbeat fun pop CD, then this is the perfect thing! He's matured alot through all his songs and it shows on this album.

Where has mister Aaron C been all these years?? This cat has more talent that Dr dre, Robert Johnson, and Eminem put together. I saw him at walmart in NC a few years ago, and people were throwing slushies at him. He jumped on a scooter and peaced out. Go Aaron

Aaron's Best!,

From the very moment I press play, this CD blows me away. The opening salvo is "Just when you thought it was safe" from the song Another Earthquake. It continues to rock from there. I'm so proud of this Aaron Carter disc. I think he and Jive knew they had to step it up and they don't disappoint! There's more of a perfectly calculated intensity in some of the vocals, beats, and lyrics. I love the entire album but my top three songs are Another Earthquake, My First Ride, and America A O. The song that's most special for me is America A O. When I hear people downing this great country of ours, I like to put on this song. I think Aaron's young fans should listen to and think about what Aaron's saying. The chorus goes "I was born, I was raised in the US of A, I'm livin' in America... And no matter what they say, I'll be living here anyway, I'm lovin' you America..." Some of the other lyrics from America A O are: "Does this sound a little serious to you, has Aaron Carter turned red white and blue, I've been rollin' like this since day one but I never bring it on your face, I have fun... face to face and body to body, we're gonna pull through, come on everybody... from New York to Cali, everywhere in between, ain't nobody gonna stop our team... it's where I'm from and where I'm at, I'm feeling proud and I got it like that. It ain't a diss so don't take it like that, the grass ain't greener- uh uh, forget that." That last verse is my favorite part on the CD. I'm so glad Aaron recorded that song. There's a hidden track that's a really good listen. At the end, there's a message from Aaron and three sample's from his brother Nick Carter's solo CD. I definitely recommend this CD along with Now Or Never by Nick Carter.

he's getting there,

His voice only gets better as he gets older. Aaron Carter abandons his signature "rap" for the more profitable pop and ballads type of pop music. And it makes him that much more bearable.Still very much a party CD, Aaron tones it down a little and shows that his fourteen years have gained him a little insight into life and love. My personal favorites include "Do You Remember", a slow-tempoed love song; "When It Comes To You", an upbeat love song that only a kid like him could pull off; and "Keep Believing", an insightful assurance that love will come to those who wait -- arguably the most mature song off this particular record. The majority of the other songs are good enough, not quite showing off his vocal abilities, but definitely doing their best to keep his audience up and dancing. If you're undecided or unsure about whether to buy it or not, buy it. If nothing else, it'll grow on you.
