Review
"Bolt the door and keep the lights on! ANOTHER SIDE OF EVIL is populated with outstanding characters and original concepts. Jax Laffer has turned in a tough and disturbing story about rape -- no easy answers here, folks. This will keep you thinking long after the final page is turned. Don't miss this one. You have been warned!" --
GARY JONAS"Jax Laffer's ANOTHER SIDE OF EVIL, is psychological horror at it's finest. The story pulls you in and keeps you riveted until the last spine timgling page. So often we see the crime of rape used as a plot devise, thrown into a story to gain sympathy for a character or to stimulate our rage. The crime happens, it's over, and usually after an act of revenge quickly forgotten. That is not the case in EVIL. Jax Laffer deals with the very real repercussions of rape. How it effects the families, husbands/lovers and friends of the victim as well as the victims themselves. She shows the long term effects of a horror that unlike murder leaves its victims alive and afraid. Her villian is superbly evil and at the same time very normal. One of the things that makes Joe Green so frightening is that he's the sort of person you might ask to walk with you to your car if you had to leave the club late." --
Selina Rosen -- Author of QUEEN OF DENIAL, THE HOST SERIES,& BOAT MAN."What Jax Laffer realizes in the character of Joe Green is that there are no absolutes. No good. No evil. Just shades of gray. Most writers aren't even aware of the dichotomy. The few that are, and try to write with more honesty, generally fail in the attempt. Laffer pulls it off with incredible success and sincerity." --
