5.0 out of 5 stars BARGAIN CD, May 18, 2000
This CD has been remastered from the original 1981 master tapes using a state of the art 20 BIT Analog to Digital converter. The result is a vastly improved recording. The songs are a mixture of slow rock and blues from Clapton's early days. The CD is worth purchasing and adding to your collection. "Blow Wind Blow" and "I Can't Stand it" are probably the best known tunes on the CD, but the others are equally good. I have seen this CD in stores for lower and was skeptical at first. But now that I own it and have listened to it, I whole-heartedly recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars A little-known gem from Clapton!!, July 12, 1998
By A Customer
For all of you Clapton purists from way back, this is the one to include next in your collection. It's a powerful execution of Clapton's ability to hit that "one note" that you all know and love. Although "I Can't Stand It" and "Rita Mae" hit more on the rock side, the guitar god still shines through, exposing his oh-so-blue roots. I highly recommend making this your next purchase if you're a Clapton fan. It's a long way from "Pilgrim," but it's a short jump from "From the Cradle." BUY IT TODAY!

4.0 out of 5 stars Another winning ticket!, February 18, 2000

(REAL NAME)
This is one of EC's less known works, but certainly one of the best! Everyone who loves pure rock and blues should love this album! But it's not only about that: the songs of this album are so different one from the other! The man's definitely not capable of singing only blues (as he himself likes to say). Sheer excellence!
