THIS IS TRUE HARDCORE AT ITS BEST!!!,
By
This review is from: Another Voice (Audio CD)
Listen up, sissys. In a world saturated by fake punk garbage the Godfathers of NYC Hardcore have put out what is without question their best album yet. Victim in Pain, Liberty & Justice, etc are all epic albums, but 'Another Voice' is unreal! Agnostic Front have always been mainstays of the true sound, but believe me, this is on a completely different level. Also, it is a mastery of punk-metal 'crossover' (Slapshot meets Slayer). Brutal... absolutely brutal!

How Hardcore Should Be Done,

Amazing. Simply Amazing. My expectations were high for this release, and I was completely blown away the first time I threw it in my CD player. With this release, AF shows all those carbon copy bands out there what real hardcore sounds like. An instant classic from the greatest hardcore band of all time.

Another Voice ...YES! ... Another "ONE VOICE" ....NEVER!!!,
By
This review is from: Another Voice (Audio CD)
A great return to form from NY's greatest Harcore enterprice. After a couple of very sloppy and stupid punky albums, Agnostic Front is back with what could be considered a second One Voice, even though it fails to deliver the anger, attitude and mastery performance of it. A great comeback but it falls short in comparison with any of their great albums. I'm glad they are back in true Hardcore form... this is a good album... but not another One Voice.
Get Cause for Alarm, ...Liberty and Justice for and One Voice... those albums will show you "in your face" what real NY HARDCORE and Agnostic Front are all about.

How real hardcore is done,

Legendary hardcore pioneers Agnostic Front return with "Another Voice"; and now has never been a better time to show the bands out today how real hardcore is done. They're best offering in years, this is Agnostic Front at their downright nastiest and heaviest instead of conforming to the "metal core" sound that is so apparent today. Hatebreed's Jamey Jasta lends guest vocal duty on "Peace", while "All is Not Forgotten", "Pride, Faith, Respect", "Take Me Back", and the anthemic "Hardcore (The Definition)" are instant classics that further cement just how surprisingly powerful Agnostic Front is and always has been. "Another Voice" is undoubtadly one of the best metal/hardcore albums of the year, and it's a welcome reminder of what real hardcore music is.

this is brutal no more halfasses punk sounding AF cds just real new york hard core back to basics, no better than ever more everything.yea more metal feel but harder than anything they did before heavy guitars and dubble bass. this lets you know where madball came from.this is a top 20 hardcore cd of all times in my book next to all madball, cromags first 2, S.o.i.l.,early prong, sheer terror, crumbsuckers, leeway, the first biohazard and killing time.If the new upgraded sound bugs you, than hard core isn't for you now.

Agnostic Front did a great job with this album , personally I think it sounds a bit too much like Hatebreed , but it is definitely worth buying !

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Another Voice (Audio CD)
Agnostic does it again in the most brutal and feirce way ever done I truly think in N.Y.H.C. history. I think Vision Of Disorder's debute might have been the meanest i've heard out of N.Y.H.C other than this and Madball's Set It Off. I still think this is insanely brutal drumming mad props out to the Gallo brothers, awesome guiter work by the one and only Vinnie Stigma, and growling truthful lyrics by the Godfather of hardcore himself Roger Miret, plus Matt Henderson. (...) AF is the REAL DEAL panzies. The only thing I don't like is the appearance by Jamey Jasta. Jamie Jasta doesn't represent N.Y.H.C, he represents nu-metal for potheads which is extremely against the N.Y.H.C tradition. Please not involve Jamie Jasta on the next album.

amazing album from the NYCHC band agnostic front, keeping the vein of old, with a bit of the new. still slammin after the others have gone, great addition to any hardcore, punk, and metal collection

You bash Agnostic Front because you are fake. You obviously know nothing about NYHC and personally I don't know how a soft core kid like yourself came across Agnostic Front. Man, this music isn't for soft untatted jack a... . Agnostic Front is only for the hardcore person, who knows and lives hardcore. This is music for the people of the streets not some suburd Nickelback lovin hick.

Ok just because a bands lacks double bass, that doesn't mean they aren't hardcore. The last 3 Agnostic Front albums are hardcore. They are real hardcore. They aren't metalcore or any of that crap.
Some old school hardcore includes Bad Relgion and Minor Threat. |
