Alicia and a White Stripe
"Another way to die" is exactly as I would imagine Jack White and Alicia Keys doing a Bond theme song; Keyboards and horns subtly spelling out the theme, White's buzzing guitars, loads of ominous stretches of music, and the two doing vocal battle. There were rumours Alicia was going to be working with Jack White on her last CD "As I am" but alas, it turned...

A huge letdown and the worst Bond theme ever!!!
Wow, this song is really bad. There is no melody, the voices don't harmonize, guitar sound and piano sound don't go together well and the guitar solo is a joke. I can not believe that this is an official bond theme. "You know my name" was superb, but "another way to die" just falls flat. 0/5 stars!!!

"Another way to die" is exactly as I would imagine Jack White and Alicia Keys doing a Bond theme song; Keyboards and horns subtly spelling out the theme, White's buzzing guitars, loads of ominous stretches of music, and the two doing vocal battle.
There were rumours Alicia was going to be working with Jack White on her last CD "As I am" but alas, it turned out not to be. With their chemistry this potent, hopefully they will work together some more in the future.

Between Alicia Keys amazing voice and Jack Whites recognizable sound, this song was an easy choice for me to pick up. It's definitely not their best work, but it is an unusual match up and it grows on me a little more each time I listen to it. Knowing that this was recorded for the next Bond movie I think it was done as well as can be expected.

this is such a great james bond theme. everything about it is top notch, and not a disappointment in the slightest. phenomenal musicianship all around. the drums especially. its exactly what a james bond theme song should be!
