Bought two, one doesn't hold a charge!
on August 24, 2013
Although you would think that the batteries are made in Germany given that the company is located in Germany and all the descriptions on the package are in English and German - they are manufactured in CHINA! The exterior of the battery is black heat shrink wrap that is very thin and instead of the company name and battery information being printed directly on the exterior of the battery there is instead a label stuck on each side and they are not even centered properly. Basically, these look like OEM batteries made in China with a label stuck on them probably used by several different companies. Save your money and buy the Tenergy Centura 9V 200mAh Low Self-Discharge NiMH Rechargeable Batteries -2pcs card which I also bought and they lasted even longer than these did at less than half the price even though they are rated 100mAh less than the Ansmann - go figure! I am going to return them as I am very disappointed.
