Operating instructions For the rolling ball pen, pull the pen cap off to expose the writing tip. To replace the refill, pull off the pen cap. Grip the barrel end of the pen with one hand and the point end with the other hand. Push the point end in while twisting it counterclockwise. Now pull the point end off. Remove the old refill and insert a new refill in the point end. Place the barrel end over the refill. Re-assemble the point end by pushing them together and twisting them slightly until they lock into place. Replace the cap.
