The Answer is San Francisco based Jondi & Spesh's follow-up to We Are Connected. Sometimes moody and broody but always groovy--it's my favorite of theirs to date. Sez Giulian, who wrote lyrics and is vocalist on a number of tracks, adds a warm soulful touch, with "Longest Day" being my favorite of this collaboration. But to me the best cut on the album is sans vocals: "Everybody Went to Burning Man." This song starts off quietly and refuses to hurry along, slowly building to envelop the audience in a kind of hypnotic joyous dirge. Good stuff!
