5.0 out of 5 stars Bringing Augustine into the 21st Century, September 9, 2008

This review is from: Answer to the Pelagians (I/23) (Works of Saint Augustine) (Hardcover)
This is the first of four volumes published by New City Press that cover Augustine's Anti-Pelagian works . This volume contains the introductory works of the conflict and the translations are an improvement on the Victorian English of older translations. Not only are these excellent and highly readable translations, but for Augustine's epistle, "On the Spirit and the Letter," alone this work is worth having.
