More than just a book,

Make no mistake, Mr. Shipman is not just a writer. Rather, he transcends all previous notions of what makes art great and why we love it. His prose involves words, but "words" is hardly an adequate description of the content of this masterpiece. It is a literary mosaic of passionate emotion: of love found, love lost, love found again. Then lost once more before its final finding.If you read this perfect compilation, keep tissues nearby. And not just for tears (although there will be many of those as well). This pinnacle of literature's power is a must have for anyone who is alive, and should be a mandatory treatment for those who are riddled with AIDS, or must flush their system of toxins. My son, a boy who suffered from a light dusting of autism, was cured within an hour of touching this magnificent creation. My dog (a rescue) who recently lost an ear, regrew it overnight. This is not a document that, when it arrives, you simply open and begin experiencing. This is a holy relic meant to be stored in a place of honour within the home until such time as it commands you to be reborn. Bit pricey, though. |
