Important Answers in a Tiny Book,
This review is from: Answers (Paperback)
I was skeptical when I first heard of Mother Meera from a German friend who insisted I find this book. After reading it through multiple times, I was awed. The wisdom Mother Meera presents is short, simple, truthful and universal. This little book brings her insights to everyone in simple explanations which remarkably offend no one, regardless of religious preference. Sex, pain, prayer....all the problems of life are illuminated for us to understand. Can one simple sentence really give realistic and workable answers to some of life's toughest questions? You will say a definite YES after reading this book. I keep it by my bed. Just like Mother Meera herself, it resonates pure truth.

If you expect this book to espouse a philosophy you will probably be disappointed. Instead, it presents a very simply blue print and offers a very beautiful promise.

This book, if you are being pulled at all to read it, will possibly change your life. Yes, its format is simple. Yes, the answers appear to be simple. But they are as simple as life itself. My life was transformed and continues to be transformed by my connection to Mother Meera and this book is something that I return to over and over again. Each time I read it I see something that I didn't see before. Each time I read it I am comforted by her guidance and inspiration. Simplicity is her method - the richness of the Divine is her gift.
This book is a source to the Divine - but it won't seem like it if you are not open. And that is fine if you are not open, but I wanted to write a review for those who are possibly contemplating a connection with Mother Meera and all that the Divine can give. (As I write this, I realize I am partly addressing other reviews.) I love that Mother Meera teaches in silence and without the trappings of religion. This book reflects that same style - simplicity without complicated systems or concepts. Reaching the Divine through Mother Meera has been perfect for me because it is so direct without the rituals that can unintentionally separate. Silence, meditation, prayer, and an energetic transformation through touch and having your soul examined with complete love and understanding when she looks into your eyes -- that is how Mother Meera works and this book helps to connect you to her. Its directness works in a similar fashion, through seemingly simple questions and answers. But isn't that a wonderful way to work with the Divine? Isn't that the way a child interacts with their own Mother as they are growing up and learning about life? I felt drawn to her for a few years before I finally went to see her - and that pull was through her book on the shelves of a bookstore. I finally allowed the book to pull me to her and I am so grateful that I did. Perhaps if you are drawn to this book, you will give it a chance. You have nothing to lose and you could gain an entirely new life of love, devotion and transformation. This book is potentially the greatest gift you can give yourself - all for a few bucks! Enjoy.

Strange assertments about beeing the Divine Mother,
By A Customer
This review is from: Answers (Paperback)
It's a question and answer book with Mother Meera. She asserts over and again, that she is the hinduistic devine mother and that she is bringing down the light of paramatman. There is no hint or proof of any kind, which supports her statements. There are some photographs of her, which still seem to show, that she attained some mystical depth. The concepts are simplistic hinduism, although the bringing down of the light of paramatman makes not that much sense. Normally one says in hinduism, that the problem is not, that the world lacks light, but that we do not comprehend the world propperly. There is another strange teaching about some white and red lines on someones body, which, as is explicitely stated have nothing to do with the kundalini shakti nadas. Because she prefers to teach without words, it's rather difficult to clarify such topics. The book will probably only make sense to someone who has met her personally, so that he can interprete it in the right way. For me it was too fancy.
